READ FABLES TO YOUR KIDS

We all know Aesop exclusively for his genre of  fables ascribed to him “Aesops Fables”

Fables have not gone out of style, but rather are a very needed genre in this day and age.  They are a wonderful way to teach social behaviour and moral ethics. 

Brief stories,Fables, are  written by authors. teaching a moral lesson. The characters are always anthropomorphic  animals or inanimate objects taking on human attributes and characteristics to be more relatable. 

The famous story of the Tortoise and the Hare written by Aesop tells you that slow and steady will win the race. You can be more successful by doing things slowly and steadily than by acting quickly and carelessly.The characters are not fantastical as in elves or dwarfs as found in fairy tales. Read Fables to your children as there is much to be gained.  Have you read Fables to your kids? You will be surprised at how wonderful they are!
