FOSTER AUTHENTICITY IN CHILDREN

DO WE WANT OUR CHILDREN TO BE HAPPY OR ANXIOUS !?

The first question we have to ask ourselves is, do we want our children to be like everyone else?  This could mean the difference between our children being happy or anxious. As parents or caregivers we should embrace our children’s differences and individualities. Children need to understand that each person is unique and different and each person has their own special gifts to share with the world.  It is our job to cultivate and nurture this and dare them to be themselves “in a world that is asking them to be like everyone else”

Inspire young ones by being authentic yourself. We are their role models. Appreciate children for who they are, observe them, take an interest in them, listen to them to learn what they like and what they are good at and then foster their desires.
